Primitive Marriage Must Change - Nana Yaw Yeboah |
A Ghanaian-UK based gospel artiste Nana Yaw Yeboah has called on Christians specially Ghanaian to change from the primitive way of marrying to reflect and fulfil God's purpose of creating women for men. According to the (Way Maker) hit composer, Genesis 2:18 says that, God created the woman to be the man's helper and companion but some traditions have negatively changed this purpose.
And now wives who need to be loved have become house maids and slaves. It is time for husbands to refrain from their traditional ego so that they could see their wives as a help mate and not a house maid. A wife is a treasure not a slave. It is heart-breaking to see how some wives are treated and struggle to get household chores done without any support or help from their husband. As the Bible says the hard work is for a man and woman is just a helper so how come that helpers are now slaves and doing the hard work, he asked?
